Let’s talk about happiness and alcohol, shall we?

I mean, who doesn’t want to be happy?

Especially on those days where it feels like the only way to escape reality is to have a drink or two.

But, what happens when that drink or two turns into five, ten, or more? And suddenly, the only time you feel happy is when you’re drunk?

As if the world without alcohol is just a bleak and joyless place.

But here’s the thing, happiness isn’t found in a bottle.

It’s not something you can buy, or earn, or even win.

Happiness is something that comes from within, and it’s there waiting for you, all the time.

And honestly, the only thing stopping you from feeling it is yourself.

The negative thoughts and feelings that cycle through your mind, they’re not real.

They’re just a trick of the mind, a mirage that alcohol temporarily helps you escape.

You know what I mean, it’s kind of like when you were a kid and you tried to clean your room by shoving everything under the bed.

It looks clean, but it’s not.

The same goes for your mind, alcohol may make you forget your problems for a little while, but it doesn’t solve them.

Only by facing them head-on and giving yourself permission to feel happy for no reason can you truly start to clean up your mental space.

Because think about it, why settle for an illusion of happiness when you can be the source of happiness for yourself and others?

You are the happiness you’re seeking, and the only thing stopping you from feeling it is your own belief that you’re not enough.

But that’s just not true.

You are enough, just as you are, and you deserve to be happy.

So, give yourself permission to feel happy for no reason, and watch as the world unfolds in ways that alcohol could never provide.

Because seriously, what’s the point of accessing a temporary happiness when you can have an infinite and real life of never ending joy?

It’s not impossible…it just feels that way.
