Drinking alcohol is often viewed as a way to unwind and relax, with many people believing that it can help them to be more present in the moment.

However, the reality is that alcohol is a toxic substance that actually has the opposite effect on your mindfulness.

When you drink alcohol, it impairs your cognitive abilities and can make it difficult for you to think clearly.

This can leads to a feeling of being “in the moment,” but it is not the same as true mindfulness.

In fact, alcohol actually prevents you from fully experiencing the present moment and hinders your ability to be mindful.

Unlike alcohol, mindfulness practices like meditation are designed to help you be more present in the moment without impairing your cognitive abilities.

These practices can help you to cultivate a sense of awareness and focus, allowing you to truly be present in the moment without the negative effects of alcohol.

In addition to impairing your ability to be mindful, alcohol is also toxic to your body.

It damages your liver, brain, and other organs, and increases your risk of developing a range of health problems.

It is also addictive, which can lead to dependence and a range of associated problems.

Unfortunately, most people who used to use alcohol to be present in the moment eventually find themselves practicing true mindfulness techniques in attempts to heal their mind and body later.

In short, while alcohol may give you the illusion of being present in the moment, it is not nearly as effective as true mindfulness practices like meditation.

In fact, it's toxic and poisonous and completely negates the health benefits of living in the present moment.

By choosing to avoid alcohol and instead engage in mindfulness practices, you can improve your mental and physical health and be truly present in the moment.

While it may be difficult to change your habits, the benefits of mindfulness are well worth the effort.

Mindfulness can helps to improve your mental and physical health, and it can also help you to be more present in the moment and enjoy life to the fullest.

As a matter of fact, I tribute 95% of the healing to my stage 4 cirrhosis because of meditation.
